The Tampa Bay Lightning have recalled forward Jakob Pelletier from AHL Syracuse, the team announced Saturday.
Lightning forward Jack Finley sustained an undisclosed injury during Friday's win over the Blue Jackets, and is day-to-day.
Pelletier has played just one game for Tampa Bay this season, in what is his first year in the Lightning organization. He has 19 goals and 22 assists for 41 points with the Crunch, good for third most points in the AHL.
The Quebec City native played 2 1/2 seasons with the Calgary Flames before being traded to the Flyers midway through the 2024-25 campaign. He signed a three-year deal with Tampa Bay in the off-season.
A 2019 first-round pick, Pelletier has 11 goals and 18 assists in 87 career NHL games.
The Atlantic Division-leading Lightning (32-13-4) are in Columbus on Sunday to take on the lowly Blue Jackets.
